I have just completed a great interview with Karina Miller who is the staffing manager at Impinj. Impinj is a great startup company is Seattle. They have many openings right now for engineers with Mixed Signal design experience as well as Non volatile Memory design experience.

Karina does a great job in promoting why Impinj is a great company to work for and why the people who currently work for Impinj like it. Impinj has continuously been in growth mode and it seems that this is going to continue.

Karina has been a supporter of Semiconductor Jobs since the beginning and I thank her for that. I feel that by doing an Interview like this one is a great way to create awareness about Impinj and to promote the company to those people who may be in a position today to work for them as well as those who may consider them down the road.

The goal is to create an open line of communication between Karina and you!!

Here is the Interview

Article about Candidate Matching Software for HR from Interbiznet
This is an interesting article for those of you who have hiring responsibility. The author of this article is named John Sumser and I have been reading his daily writings for a very long time.

There is no doubt that he makes a very good point in this article and for all of you in the Semiconductor Industry who have hiring responsibility, quickly go and sign up for his daily newsletter.

There is no doubt that as time goes on, more and more individuals are using the internet to manage some part of their career. As a result, companies need to really look at how they deal with the data, how they can bring to the surface the important stuff and how they can identify those candidates that need to be spoken to for current openings. There is a saying that goes "The only thing worse than having 200 resumes on your desk is 300 resumes on your desk."

We are seeing that there are more and more openings in the semiconductor Industry on a daily basis. Since the launch of this site, there has been an amazing increase in traffic as well as communication to people who we would have never been able to communicate with before. Interviews are being set up and I am confident that hires will start happening shortly as a direct result of Semiconductor Jobs.

What does this all have to do with sorting software? The answer is easy, tell us about what you need and we will go and find it and with a little luck, bypass the inefficiencies that currently exist out there.

We are working on some very interesting things right now at Semiconductor Jobs. Next week we will start interviewing Senior Staffing Managers and Hiring Managers at Top Semiconductor Companies. These interviews will be published on Semiconductor Jobs.

There have been a number of Semiconductor companies that have also expressed interest in starting their own blogs which would be attached to the Semiconductor Job Blog. This is a great idea because most people have something to say and this is a great way for those in charge of hiring the right people to communicate in a unique way to potential candidates.

Be sure to visit us often due to the nature of this site. It will change almost daily. Semiconductor Jobs is very networked in the industry and as a result, we are aware of many positions in the Semiconductor Industry.

Please contact me if you have any ideas as to how to improve the site as well as any kind of business development ideas.

There is no question that things are happening once again in this industry.
